Fall in Idaho

Everyone!
Beautiful week of changing colors, falling leaves, and exchanges :)
These pictures are from exchanges I went on with Sister Sheppard(from England) and Sister Brimley(from Arizona). Inkom is a little town with the population of around 600. It's gorgeous, as you can see! I was able to help the sisters set goals and new standards for their area. They are super hard workers and were eager to get out and work. We had much success and accomplished our goals.

I am privileged to go on exchanges about every other week with different sisters. At first, this assignment was a bit overwhelming and I felt a little inadequate, as well. I have started to keep a small exchange notebook where, before the exchange, I write out what I have seen and learned from their zone and district leaders that they need strengthening in. I then write out a "how to" break down of how I will strengthen them. I include scripture stories and personal experiences to help train. I earnestly pray, the days leading up to the exchange, for further guidance and light on how I can help them with their needs. I also pray that I may be an instrument in the Lord's hand and set a righteous example.

Once on the exchange, we set goals and discuss many things and then go out and work. At the end of the exchange we discuss what we could have done better, what we did well, and what we learned as a result of the exchange. I am in awe of the things I have learned from each different sister. Sister Brimley gave me an added desire to be grateful to members. Sister Sheppard gave me an added desire to always be aware of daily goals and the standard of excellence that our mission has.

Without fail, I always learn so much. The sisters we serve over are from all over the world. Samoa, Australia, England, Arizona. Louisiana, Texas, New Mexico, and California! From such diverse backgrounds, I can easily say that I probably learn more from them than they will ever learn from me!

I love Idaho! We carved pumpkins this week. I carved out the state of Idaho, a plus sign, and then the state of Alabama. My two homes :) ...I wasn't going to try carving out Hawaii haha.

I love you all with all my, southern at heart, heart!
