I had Sister 'Otukolo tell you a little bit about herself, I just noticed she wrote a little more than that haha. To say the least, I LOVE the new area and my new companion. We live in a families basement, they are an awesome senior missionary couple in the mission. One of our church buildings is right across the street so every morning we run over and work out in the gym. There's so much going on here and so much potential. We've got a baptism of a YSA this weekend and then a man in another one of our wards the weekend after!
This is a good change, not that I needed to leave my last area, but that I just needed some new ways of doing the work. Let me tell you, church yesterday was when it hit me that I was in a new area. We walked into the chapel and I saw kids everywhere and babies crying...definitely not in YSA anymore. I love it!! Man oh man, I love it! Seeing families walk into church together, struggling to get everyone directed to a pew, and then trying to keep everyone quiet during the meeting warms my heart.
Everything really and truly happy in life stems from families that are centered in Christ. I know that Heavenly Father made it that way for a reason. If you think about it, we're the same in relation to all our brothers and sisters around the world. Let us all speak, treat, and think kindly of others as we go about our day to day activities. I've come to learn that the way we think about others leads to how we treat others. Yeah, this may seem obvious, but even the slightest negative thought about someone can domino effect into something larger. I know the Savior loved all, and he was the perfect example. Let's all try this week to think and do unto others as we would have done to ourselves.
Love you guys!
Samantha

Thatss kinda been a struggle to stay calm when I hear music(: but the Lord always helps out! I love Sister FredricK!! She's amazing and we're serving in Highland! She is such an incredible servant. She is a hard worker and Im sure you all know all of that already! I am grateful for the opportunity I have to serve with her!! Her diligence and desire to hasten the work emulates the Savior's love.
